PDFs not printing

Settings show printer "online" and test page prints, but PDF documents are not printing

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

Did you trying printing other documents and check, like MS Word, Notepad, etc.

 

Meanwhile:-

Change the default program

Set Adobe Acrobat Reader DC as the default program for viewing PDF files.

  1. In Windows, search for and open Control panel, and then click Programs.

  2. Click Default Programs, and then click Associate a file type protocol with a program.

    The Default apps window displays.

  3. Scroll down the window, and then click Choose default apps by file type.

  4. Find .PDF, click the plus sign or the default app, select Adobe Acrobat Reader DC from the list of results, and then close the Settings window.

  5. Try printing the original PDF file again.

Print the PDF as an image

  1. Open the original PDF file.

  2. Click File, and then select Print from the list.

    The Print window opens.

  3. Click Advanced.

    The Advanced Print Setup window opens.

  4. Click the Print As Image checkbox, change any other settings as desired, and then click OK.
