PRINTING BLANK PAGE

HP Recommended
HP OFFICE JET 4562
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello... my printer has not been printing for awhile. There is currently ink but it just prints blank pages, i've tried all the help steps provided. is there something else that I can do. It's in really great condition and I don't want to have to purchase a new one just for the print option. Everything else still works perfectly fine.

@FLYTY319, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

If the printer was not used for a while, the inks could have dried or the nozzles would be blocked.

Try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Clean the ink cartridges

  1. Make sure to load the input tray with plain, white paper.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, then touch Setup.

  3. Touch Tools, then touch Clean Cartridges.

  4. If the print quality is unacceptable, click Yes when prompted to perform the next level of cleaning.

NOTE: If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform both levels of cleaning again.

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic report from the printer control panel, then evaluate the results.

  1. Make sure to load the input tray with plain, white paper.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.

  3. Touch Tools.

  4. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Print Quality Report.

If the issue persists, perform step 13 from this document - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
