@AMBITIOUSMAMA, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printing Issues with New Cartridges!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your printer seems to be functioning normally but nothing prints on the paper despite installing new cartridges, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink. If they are low or empty, replace them with new ones.
Clean the Printhead: The printhead might need cleaning if the printer was turned off incorrectly or if the ink is not properly dispensing onto the paper. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for printhead cleaning.
Check Cartridge Installation: Verify that the cartridges are correctly seated in their respective slots. Sometimes, if they are not fully installed, the printer may not detect them correctly.
Remove Protective Tape: Some cartridges come with protective tape on their ink nozzles. Ensure this tape has been completely removed, as it may block the ink flow.
Print Settings: Double-check that print settings are configured correctly for your document and type of paper.
Plug and Replug: Disconnect the USB cable from the printer and restart both the printer and computer. Reconnect the cable and attempt to print again.
Printer Driver Update: Ensure that your printer driver is up-to-date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause printing issues.
Restart Devices: Turn off both the printer and computer for about a minute, then turn them back on. Sometimes a simple restart can solve many issues.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
