PageWide Pro 477dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello guys,

We have this PageWide Pro 477dw, latest firware (1708D), latest drivers pack (38.6), w10 x64, connected by Wifi to our LAN, which seems to be a bit capricious.

Print jobs send to this nice printer are kind of printed ramdomly, sometimes yes, sometimes no.

We noticed that:

- with word, it does print A4 documents from tray2 quite regulary (but not always, let's say 80% of the time).

- with notepad++, with A4 format, either with manual or automatical choosen tray, it never prints (0% success)

- with word, with A6 format, with A6 paper loaded in tray1, and printer configured to know that tray1 is A6, it never prints (0% success)

- with LibreOffice writer, it never works, neither A4, A6, neither automatic and forced tray (0% success)

The submited prints alway appear in the print jobs window, and disappear right away  even if they are printed or not. In case of no successul printing, there is absolutely no error shown neither on the printer, nor on the HP software on the printing PC client...

What other information would you need to try to give some tips...

PS: we tried reseting it, settings and removing the automatic format selection, shut off-power on

PPS: we didn't try cabled connection (mainly because we need to use it "wirelessly")

We would really appreciate your help

Regards

Pierre

Hi Bryan,
Thanks for super fast answer. 😮😮
We did try this utility, i forgot to mention it, but it recurrently crashes. We did not try it on another workstation btw... Let's try it that somewhere else, i'll keep you updated.
