My printer won’t print due to a paper jam. I’ve tried everything to reset it, but I think it’s cause one side of the roller is not doing its job. So only the left side of the paper gets pulled in. Any suggestions?

Paper jams can be real or false. The printer might report a paper jam even when there is no jammed paper. The following steps apply to both real and false paper jams.
Perform the following tasks in the order given. Use the printer after each task to see if the issue is resolved.

NOTE:
The printer images and details may vary depending on your printer model.
JAM LOCATIONS
Feature Description
1. Input tray
2. Output tray
3. Cartridge access area
4. Bottom of the printer
5. Document feeder (some printer models)
