Hello

I have a deskjet 3054A printer. Printer has worked fine for years.  However, beginning a few months ago, when I print, the paper feeds in crooked then stops and the printer reads "Out of paper. Load paper into the tray." I have checked inside printer for obstructions, cleaned paper pick rollers, performed reset. Nothing has worked. Am I doing something wrong? What can I do to fix this?

This might be a tough one as there is probably some foreign object that is inside the paper path. Best thing to do is shine a flashlight in to the paper paths and remove whatever it is that is causing the page to skew as it is rolling through. Possibly one of the little free-wheeling rollers has stopped rolling ...make sure any small roller is able to roll freely.

Hope this helps... https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-deskjet-3050a-e-all-in-one-printer-series-j611/4311836/model...

Thank you for your response. There is no foreign object in the paper's pathway. Is there a way I can replace the rollers?

Thank you!

Is one of the rollers stuck? If you want to replace the big rollers that pull the paper through, it is not worth it. It would be better just to buy a new printer or exercise your warranty options if it is still in warranty.

One trick I have seen work for labels that have become stuck in the back of the paper path, is to feed through thicker card stock... like the thickness of normal poster board or business cards. When the card stock is pulled through, if there is something that you can't see jammed in the back, it will leave an impression on the card as it comes out - and it might even dislodge it and work it out.
