Hi @Print_Perfect,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP M750 printer is experiencing paper jams specifically when printing on the second side of the page (duplex printing), there are several potential causes and fixes you can try.

  • Check Paper Type and Quality: Ensure that you are using the correct type and quality of paper as specified by HP for duplex printing. Low-quality or incorrect types of paper can cause jams.
  • Inspect Paper Path for Obstructions: Open the printer and inspect the entire paper path, both where the paper enters and exits during duplex printing. Look for any shreds of paper, bits of debris, or foreign objects that could be causing the jam.
  • Clean Paper Path and Rollers: Use a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with water to clean the rollers and the entire paper path. Dust and debris can accumulate on rollers and cause improper paper feeding, leading to jams.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Sometimes, updating the printer's firmware can resolve issues related to paper handling and duplex printing. Check HP's official website for the latest firmware updates for your HP M750 printer model.
  • Adjust Paper Settings in Printer Driver: Ensure that the paper settings in your computer's printer driver match the paper type and size that you are using. Incorrect settings can lead to feeding issues and subsequent jams.
  • Reset Printer: Power off the printer completely, wait for a few minutes, and then power it back on. This can sometimes clear out temporary errors or issues that could be causing the paper jams.
  • Check Duplex Unit: If the duplex unit itself is malfunctioning (e.g., misfeeding paper), it may require servicing or replacement. Contact HP support for assistance if the duplex unit seems to be the issue.
  • Inspect for Wear and Tear: If the printer is older or heavily used, components such as rollers or feed mechanisms might be worn out.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
