Hi @Ravk

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Let's sort out this false "paper low" warning so your HP ENVY 6065e can get back to printing smoothly. This issue might be caused by sensor misalignment, a paper tray problem, or even software glitches.

Here's a step-by-step guide to address it:

1. Check the Paper Tray and Alignment

Ensure Proper Paper Loading:

Remove the paper stack and make sure the paper isn’t bent, curled, or damp.

Fan the edges of the paper to prevent sheets from sticking together.

Reload the paper into the tray and adjust the paper guides snugly to the edges of the paper. Avoid overtightening, as this can cause issues.

Avoid Overfilling:

Ensure the paper stack doesn't exceed the maximum capacity of the tray.

2. Clean the Paper Sensors

Over time, dust or debris can interfere with the sensors:

Turn off the printer and unplug it.

Access the paper tray and gently clean the sensor inside (often near the back of the tray) using a lint-free cloth.

You may also lightly use compressed air to blow out any debris.

3. Reset the Printer

Performing a reset can resolve minor software glitches:

Turn off the printer.

Unplug it from the power source for at least 60 seconds.

Plug it back in, turn it on, and check if the warning persists.

4. Update Printer Firmware

HP regularly releases new firmware versions for printer enhancements, app updates, or issue fixes. Update the firmware regularly to get the most out of your printer.

Click on the link below for instructions on how to update the firmware of your printer.

5. Test Without the Printer App

If the warning appears only while using the HP Smart app or a similar tool, print directly from your computer or phone to check if the issue persists. This will help determine if it’s a hardware or software issue.

6. Factory Reset the Printer

Resetting the printer to its factory defaults can clear persistent issues:

On the printer control panel, navigate to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Restore Factory Defaults.

Follow the on-screen prompts to reset the printer.

Reconfigure the printer settings after the reset.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
