Product: HP ENVY Photo 7855

Just set up my HP ENVY Photo 7855. Printed a 4x6 pic from my Android phone, on glossy paper. It printed the photo, but the ink is an absolute mess. It's still wet 10 minutes after printing. Does anyone have an idea how I can fix this? (please!)

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

Here is the list of the media types supported by this printer:-

  • Plain Paper; HP Photo Papers; HP Matte Brochure or Professional Paper; HP Matte Presentation Paper; HP Glossy Brochure or Professional Paper; Other Photo Inkjet Papers; Other Matte Inkjet Papers; Other Glossy Inkjet Papers, Plain Paper, Light/Recycled.

Meanwhile:- 

Perform a power reset

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
  6. Turn on the printer.

Update the printer firmware
