Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your !

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your photos are printing with vertical stripes even after installing new ink cartridges, there may be an issue with the printhead or cartridges. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Remove and Reinstall Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed. Sometimes, removing and then reinstalling the cartridges can resolve the issue.

Automatic Printhead Cleaning:

  • Run an automatic printhead cleaning procedure from the printer control panel. This helps clear clogged nozzles and improve print quality.

Manual Cleaning:

  • If automatic cleaning does not work, manually clean the copper-colored contacts on the print cartridges.
    • Steps for Manual Cleaning:
      1. Open the print-carriage access door and wait for the carriage to stop moving.
      2. Remove the cartridge and place it on a piece of paper with the nozzle plate facing up.
      3. Dip a swab, or other soft, lint-free material (that does not stick to cartridges) in distilled water, then squeeze it to remove most of the moisture.
      4. Clean the ink cartridge contacts but do not touch the nozzles.
      5. Dry the electrical contacts with a new, clean swab.
      6. Reinstall the ink cartridge and close the print-carriage access door.

Align the Print Cartridges:

  • After cleaning, align the print cartridges using the printer control panel. Proper alignment ensures better print quality.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
