Hi @RAX32,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thank you for reaching out — we understand how concerning it can be when your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2675 isn’t powering on properly. Let’s walk through the possible causes and how to fix them based on the lights you're seeing.
Step 1: Perform a Power Reset
This is a basic but often effective first step:
- Unplug the printer from the power outlet.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
- Plug the printer directly into a working wall outlet (avoid surge protectors or power strips).
- Turn the printer back on.
If the printer powers up normally, it was likely a firmware glitch or low-voltage issue.
Step 2: Try a Forced Reset
If the lights are still stuck:
- With the printer on, unplug the power cable from the back of the printer (not just the wall).
- Hold the “Cancel” button (🛑) and Wireless button together.
- While holding, plug the power back into the printer.
- Hold the buttons for another 10–15 seconds, then release.
This triggers a semi-full reset on many HP DeskJet models.
Step 3: Check for Power Supply Issues
- Try another power outlet in a different room.
- If you have a different compatible power adapter (same model or another HP DeskJet 2600 series), try swapping it briefly to test.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
