I've had this printer for a while now but it's never been good. A4 prints fine, photo and plain. 6x4" struggles and requires multiple attempts to pick up paper. 7x5" never picks up.
This is the second printer I have had the first one was replaced under warranty. Same issues.
The solution I think will be to replace with better quality photo printer from Canon.
The HP Envy Inspire is the worst printer I have ever owned.

Hi @PhotoPrinterNo,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
Sincere apologies. It must be frustrating to experience the same issues with your printer, even after a replacement.
Here are a few troubleshooting steps to try and see how it pans out.
- Ensure the paper size and type settings match the actual paper you're using in the printer settings, especially for 6x4" and 7x5" prints.
- Check the paper tray and adjust the paper guides to ensure they are snug but not too tight against the paper, which can help with feeding smaller sizes.
- Clean the paper feed rollers using a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with water to remove dust or residue that might be preventing proper pickup.
- Try using high-quality photo paper for smaller sizes to ensure the printer handles it better, as low-quality paper may slip during feeding.
- Update the printer's firmware via the HP website or HP Smart app to ensure it's running the latest version, which could resolve known paper handling issues.

These steps should help improve the printer's performance with smaller-sized prints.
