My son will soon be moving with his new HP Deskjet 3755 printer to an appartement building that provides WiFi. He took the free 2 month subscription to HP Instant Ink with requires constant internet access between the printer and the internet (and may continue with it afterwards).
Is there a way to keep the HP Web services working but prevent everyone else to access the printer? He can use a cable or WiFi Direct for his own printing but how can you block everyone else out?
Is the easiest solution simply to turn on the printer only when he needs to print?

Hi @Pointix,
The printer access cannot be blocked, but a person will be able to access your printer unless he is on the same network.
When your not using the printer you can turn off, that will not effect the instant ink subscription.
Make sure to connect it once in a while to update your printer status
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
