For some unknown reason, my computer stopped communications with my printer.  I have done all the steps to resolve it, doesn't work.  Since my computer and printer are under warranty, I called HP.  They said it was a software issue and I need to pay to fix it.  The print jobs are stuck in queue, with "spooling" as an issue.  What software do I need?  I ran diagnosis and it said my computer is fine and up to date.

Hi there!  Thank you for responding.  After HP tried several times to fix this issue, I decided to take it into a computer repair shop here where I live.  If they can't figure it out, I'll reach out to you again.

Thanks again!

Update:  The computer shop thought they fixed the issue.  They did not.  I took the computer back to them and I was informed yesterday that whatever issue it has, it's too "deep" to figure out or fix.  So they are doing a reset on the computer and reinstalling the operating system.

This may or may not help but if it’s linked with wireless connection. I had this issue and it was my internet providers fault. Once updated settings with my provider it worked again.

Thanks for replying.  I would have guessed internet issues, but my hubby and I each have a laptop that will connect to the printer.  The desktop just lost its way and won't connect to any printer!   But, we had tv issues for the longest time and it turned out to be the internet.  So don't discount internet as the problem!
