My printer is in great shape. That's not the problem. The problem is the HP company. 

They have changed my printer through updates and now I can no longer print unless I use ColorLok paper. 

I don't want to use ColorLok paper. Now I have a completely useless printer and I'm pissed!  I've spent a lot of money on my printer and took good care of it for nothing! I've been a long time HP customer and I HATE THIS COMPANY NOW. I will never but another HP product. 

This isn't the only problem I've run into either. HP treats its customer service center as a sales team. So there is no help. This company does not care for it's customers.

Without some details, it is difficult to evaluate what might be the issue. I have never run into a situation where you are forced to use XXX paper. I have seen cases where the driver is defaulted to colorlok paper but that usually is fixed by adjusting the printing defaults or preferences on the driver.

 

If you could post more detailed information including model of printer, operating system of computer and what driver you are using there is likely a solution.

See if you can select a different paper type listed there.

 

You will also want to make sure that the paper type settings on the printer itself are set for plain paper as well.

Dear there is no HP printer which is locked to one paper profile, all supported profiles are available,

Kindly check you correct driver from below.

I watched this video and double checked to make sure on my computer it was set to plain paper and it was. 

The video you have sent me was made 3 years ago. 

 

HP has done this to my printer through their updates.
