I have a number of HP M452dn that have had the 59.F0 error over the past couple of years. Usually the very expensive ITB belt replacement fixes the problem, however I now have 3 devices where that is not working. I have tried the DCC firmware upgrade from this thread (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing-Errors-or-Lights-Stuck-Print-Jobs/Error-59-FO-LaserJet-Pro-MF...) and while the FTP put does transfer the file, nothing happens, and when I connect via USB and share the printer and then copy /b the PRN file it just prints out info on the dropbox (typed out below) and then throws the 59.F0 error again but does not upgrade.

Does anyone have any other tricks that might help this disaster of a problem that HP won't do a recall for (even though they should)?

Thanks

That link shows as dead when I click it which would lead me to believe either it was corrupted or being used as a phishing link.

I have posted my dropbox link numerous times and in my own experience about 1 in 50 printers refuses to take the update.

Here is the link to a folder with the update instructions and the file https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/30dstxna08h6hzzy2hctg/AKyS7uxQwheTJuvinryL0aQ?rlkey=opcl99lq65z22opxq...

So after I posted this and reread it I thought to myself "what if there was no paper..."

So I recopied (/b) without paper and it actually worked.

A 2nd printer I had I could not even get it to come up without the error, so I tried to copy to it with the Front Door open and that also worked.  Alas it is still throwing the error though, but maybe that was a bad belt AND the firmware, I honestly don't remember who has the new belt I bought when I got the 1st printer that just the belt did not fix.

Let's see what fun the 3rd printer will bring 🙄...
