HP OfficeJet 6962

The printer is telling me there is a paper jam but there's no paper that I can see. I took out the paper tray and also took out the device that holds down the paper in the flip side printer part which is removable. I also checked the document feeder.  It also asked me to turn it off and on. I have done all of this several times.  On one of the forums I found a way to reset the printer but you need to remove the ink cartridges first and I can't remove them all because they are locked in place on the right side of the printer.  What do I do now?  My printer is no longer under warranty however this is obviously an HP glitch since the same thing has happened to so many other people.

Unfortunately that didn’t help either.  I can’t move the ink cartridges at all.  They are stuck on the right side of the machine.  I changed the ink cartridges for the 3 color inks because it was telling me the cartridges were either empty or damaged.  I can’t get to the black cartridge to remove it, never mind change it.  And I’m still getting error message “0x6100004a”. And when I turn the printer off then back on I get an error message saying that the printer wasn’t turned off properly.

Any other suggestions?

Thank you!,
