Having problems with my HP Officejet Pro 6968. It keeps saying I have a paper jam but none can be found. I receive the message 0x6100004a and the print cartridge does not move to center. I can manually more it over by moving the top gear up.

Hi @DoubleB2,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code 0x6100004a on your HP Officejet Pro 6968 typically indicates a paper jam or a problem with the printer's carriage.
Please try the steps shared below and let me know how it works.
Step 1. Hard Reset
Please remove the Cartridges from the Printer if possible, and try a Hard Reset and keep us posted to help you better
1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
5. Wait at least 60 seconds.
6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
8. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on. The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
9. Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Step 2. Update Firmware
Outdated firmware can cause trouble.
1️. Open HP Smart or visit HP Customer Support.
2️. Select your printer model and go to Drivers & Software.
3️. If a firmware update is available, download and install it.
4️. Restart the printer and check if the issue is resolved.
