Printer HP Evny 7855 is online but will not print document from Dell Inspiron 15 3000 that is online. I turned off the router, printer, and laptop and it still will not print. An error message appears.

Try these steps:

Check Printer Connections:

• Make sure your printer is properly connected to the same network as your laptop.
• Ensure the Wi-Fi signal is strong where your printer is located.

Printer Status and Error Messages:

• Check the printer's display for any error messages. If an error message appears, refer to the HP Envy 7855 user manual or HP support site for solutions specific to that error.

Printer Drivers and Software:

• Ensure you have the latest drivers installed for your HP Envy 7855. You can download updated drivers from the HP Drivers & Software page.
• Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers on your Dell laptop and check if your printer is listed. If it is, does it show idle/inactive or in an error state?

Reinstall Printer:

• Remove the printer from the printer list:
  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click on the HP Envy 7855, and select Remove device.
• Add the printer again:
  • Click Add a printer and follow the instructions to reinstall it.

Check Print Queue:

• Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click on the HP Envx 7855, and select See what's printing.
• Cancel any stuck print jobs.
• Make sure the printer is not set to offline mode (Printer > Use Printer Offline should be unchecked).

Run Troubleshooter:
