Hello & Thank You for Your valuable feedback.

I've a Photosmart 5514 that's got great mileage &performance.

Seems the printheads are "blocking" the new ink flow.

Who, out there, is my miracle worker/

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Use an automated tool to clean the printhead

  1. From the control panel home screen, touch the Right Arrow (), and then touch the Setup icon ().

  2. Touch Tools, and then touch Clean Printhead. The printer cleans the printhead, and then prints a test page.

  3. NOTE: If the printhead is badly clogged, you might need to clean the printhead several times to restore normal print quality. If a second cleaning is required, wait 30 minutes before cleaning again.

Also, Make sure that the cartridges are properly vented and seated correctly

refer to solution six; step 3 mentioned in this document.

Let me know how this goes.
