Hi To All,
The printer in question is still under warranty but hoping it's issue be resolved here. Upon powering on, the carriage carrying the print heads slams hard to the right then an E3 error code is displayed, printing isn't possible. Following the HP tutorials but the problem persists. Looking inside the unit I'm finding no obstructions in the print heads path nor any debris or paper pieces. It appears to be an internal malfunction regarding circuitry. I attempted contacting an HP tech several times but was disconnected and never having the printer issue resolved. Would appreciate help on either repairing the unit at home or how to go about obtaining warranty service. Thank you!

@sandl007 If you've gone through all the steps mentioned in this article:click here to verify,
And yet the issue persists, as you've mentioned, it's a hardware malfunction and I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:
1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Click on "Show Options".
Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!
Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,

@sandl007 if your device is within warranty, the instructions listed previously should get you to a number for your region, however, if that's not working,
Please check If you have an HP authorized service center near by, you should be able to take it to them and have it checked,
