Check some of the most frequent questions about Instant Ink: HP INSTANT INK, HP+ PLANS: INK AND TONER.

HP DeskJet 2652 All-in-One Printer
macOS 12.0 Monterey

Deskjet 2652 (with Instant Ink subscription) will not stop printing Printer Status Reports. Constantly. If there is paper in the tray, it will keep printing status reports. If I try to print a document, it will print a status report and then print the document. Sometimes it will stop the document mid-way, feed the rest of the blank page through, then print more status reports.

I chatted with support tech for hours on end, through multiple disconnects, and SO MANY suggestions of "hard reset." Nothing has worked. Seems that other people on this forum have has this same problem on other printers and I haven't come across any solutions. Also, it's worth noting that this is counting against my Instant Ink page count, as well as so much blank paper I've wasted.

Things I've already tried MULTIPLE times (please do not suggest again):

-Unplugged cord from printer and wall, wait 60 sec, plug back in.

-Checked for printer updates on HP Smart app

-Opened cartridge door and pressed ON and CANCEL buttons for 5/10 seconds before closing cartridge door

-Took out cartridges and put back in

-Typed "Cancel -a" in Terminal on all computers connected to printer by Wifi

-"Reset printing system" on all computers connected to printer by Wifi

-Restarted all computers

Please help! Thank you!
