Just got this printer yesterday set it up linked to my phone. It is plugged into the wall not a surge protector or extension cord. It came with cartridges so I know they are the correct ones. When it first starts up it tells you that you need to print an alignment page. The only option is to press ok and it sits on that screen. Nothing is printing. I thought maybe it was slow so I left it overnight and it still isn’t printing. There is no home button. I tried to remove and put back in the cartridges and plug and unplug it back in. Please help!!!

I read your post and I understand that the printer is stuck at the printing alignment page.

 

I'd like to help!

 

Let's try a power reset on the printer

 

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet

 Try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
