Printer apps turned off and not connected to server

When I hit smart tasks it says printer was unable to connect to server try again later
when I try Apps - printer apps unavailable, printer. Apps have been turned off to turn it on again use the printers embedded web service
i can print no problem
I need to be able to scan

Is the printer connected to a home or public network?
What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?
I would like to know, is your router set to work on 2.4 GHz network or 5 GHz network band?
