There was an error sign appearing on my computer screen, and my printer was only printing the first half of the papers + the printer is plugged to the wall, there is enough ink, so where was the problem coming from? Was it a virus that entered from my laptop to the printer?

But when I updated Microsoft 10 it started working normally again

what was the problem?

@Sofia13, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

It could be an issue with the compatibility between the printer software and the Win OS that got resolved after Windows updates. Microsoft regularly releases a software patch to resolve such issues.

Make sure the auto-update is ON on the PC.

In the future, you may run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.

Hope this answers your query! Keep me posted.
