Hi @Jo20191,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with the HP Envy 6000 series printers displaying an orange flashing light with error code "EO" typically indicates a hardware or connectivity issue. Since you've already tried all the general recommendations, let's go through a more detailed troubleshooting process to see if we can identify and resolve the problem.

Steps to Troubleshoot HP Envy 6000 Printer with Error Code EO

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open all the compartments and carefully check for any paper jams or obstructions.
  • Remove any stuck paper or debris.

Inspect the Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the ink cartridge access door and make sure the cartridges are installed correctly.
  • Remove the cartridges, inspect them for any damage, and then reinstall them.
  • Ensure that the cartridges are genuine HP products.

Reset the Printer:

  • With the printer on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the power source.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the power source and then to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date. Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest firmware for your HP Envy 6000 series printer. Update the firmware on an HP printer

Network and Connectivity Check:

  • Restart your router and reconnect the printer to the network.
  • Check the printer’s network settings to ensure it has a valid IP address.

Factory Reset:

  • Perform a factory reset to restore the printer to its original settings. This can sometimes resolve persistent errors.
  • To perform a factory reset, consult your printer’s manual or the HP support website for specific instructions.
