I have a hp officejet pro 6968. It keeps giving me a false paper jam and a printer failure error. It also keeps telling me that I didn't shut it off properly even when I do. Is there any suggestions on how to fix this thing? I'm usually pretty tech savvy but this has stumped me.

I understand that you are having issues with printer failure errors.

 

Let's try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

 

You may also refer to this document if you are still getting paper jams.
