Hello @Dehli and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I understand your HP DeskJet 4155e is showing three blinking lights and won’t print after being unused for a few months. Let’s walk through the steps to identify and resolve the issue.

Step 1: Identify the Blinking Lights

The three blinking lights typically refer to:

  • Power light
  • Resume light (triangle icon)
  • Ink alert light

This usually indicates a cartridge issue, paper jam, or printer not connected properly.

Step 2: Basic Checks

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall and printer.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Paper Jam:

  • Open the input/output trays and cartridge access area.
  • Remove any jammed paper or debris.

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the cartridge access door.
  • Remove and reinsert both cartridges (black and tri-color).
  • Make sure they click into place.
  • If cartridges are low or expired, consider replacing them.

Step 3: Reset the Printer

If the lights continue blinking:

  1. Perform a Semi-Full Reset:
    • Disconnect power while printer is on.
    • Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.
    • Reconnect power and turn it on.

Step 4: Reconnect to HP Smart App

If the printer was inactive for months, it may have lost Wi-Fi settings.

Download or open the HP Smart app: HP Smart

Reset Wi-Fi:

  • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together until the Power light blinks.
  • This resets network settings.

Re-add the printer in HP Smart and follow setup instructions.
