HP Printer Scanner Inkjet 3635
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP printer scanner 3635 was left for 15 months turned off because of the Coronavirus Lockdown.  When I turned it on, it printed with black ink but was very faint and uneven.  I took the black cartridge out, shook it a couple of times, gently wiped the surface and now it doesn't print at all.  I've tried with another cartridge which had a bit of ink left in it but still the page is blank. 

 

I have downloaded the HP App HP Print and Scan Doctor but it can't diagnose what is wrong.

 

Help please!

I understand you are unable to print in black 

 

If you have already performed the steps from the document Printer Prints a Blank Page or Does Not Print Black or Color Inkand the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
