I’m getting Carriage Jam and Printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed  error messages. I have followed the HP instructions and lifted the cartridge lever and moved the cartridges at lease five times.  The only thing that happened was that the Carriage Jam error message started to appear.   There are no other suggestions besides replacing the printer head. 
Does anyone have a better suggestion on how to solve this without t replacing the printer head?

  • May I have the exact name of the model of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
