Printer hung on the HP software is setting up your printer

Office jet pro 9018

I have brought the printer yesterday, I have loaded papers and connected to my network using network cable. The screen is stuck on the word which says “the hp software is setting up your printer”. It is stuck there for ever almost 13 hours. Stable internet connection, I don’t know what to do. So I did a restart by in plugging the power cord and after 2 mins the issue still exists. It’s been 24 hours the screen is stuck on same page. Please help, such a horrible ui design doesn’t tell if it stuck or no progress indications.

@TajaKhan

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Make sure the Printer is connected directly to the a wall outlet. Try a different wall outlet too.

Let me know if this helps.
