Hi @Har186467,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The flashing information and Instant Ink lights on your HP DeskJet 2710e indicate an issue with the printer. The "printer blocked" error typically suggests that there might be a problem with the printer's connection to HP's Instant Ink service or an issue related to the ink cartridge or its installation.

Here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue.

Check Ink Cartridge Status:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed. Open the printer cover and remove and reinsert the cartridges to make sure they are seated correctly.
  • Check for any visible damage or protective tape that might have been missed during cartridge installation.

Check Instant Ink Subscription Status:

  • Log in to your HP Instant Ink account (https://www.hpinstantink.com/) and check if your subscription is active or if there are any issues with billing or account status.
  • If the subscription is expired or there is a payment issue, you may need to update the payment information or renew the subscription.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug the printer back in and power it on again.

Reinstall Printer Software:

  • Ensure that your printer software is up to date on your computer.
  • You can download and install the latest drivers and software from the HP support website: HP DeskJet 2710e Drivers & Downloads.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • With the printer powered on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for 60 seconds, then plug the cord back in and turn the printer on again.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • If the printer is connected to the internet, it may automatically check for firmware updates. If not, you can try updating the firmware through the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
