Hello, my printer is connected to wifi, has no paper jams, and is full of ink. I have also downloaded and am using the HP Smart app. Any ideas on why won't it print?

I have an HP DeskJet 2752.

@Pupper12, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printing Issues with HP DeskJet 2752!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

To resolve the issue where your HP DeskJet 2752 printer is not printing despite being connected to Wi-Fi, full of ink, and free of paper jams, you can try the following steps:

Check Printer Status:

  • Make sure your printer is turned on and not in sleep mode. Touch the control panel or press the Power button to wake the printer and put it in a ready state.

Network Connection:

  • Verify that the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or mobile device. If your printer has a light next to a Wireless icon, ensure the light is solid and not blinking, indicating a stable connection. If necessary, reconnect the printer to the network.
  • For printers with a touchscreen control panel, open the Setup, Network, or Wireless settings menu, select Wireless Setup Wizard, and follow the instructions to connect.
  • For printers without a touchscreen control, press and hold the Wireless button for five seconds until the wireless light starts flashing, then press the WPS button on your router.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your printer and the device you are trying to print from. This helps clear any error conditions.

Install Latest Updates:

  • Ensure you have the latest printer firmware installed. You can update the firmware directly from the printer or download and install it through your computer using the HP Smart app.
  • Visit HP Software and Driver Downloads to check for any available updates for your printer model.

HP Smart App Settings:

  • Confirm that the HP Smart app is functioning correctly by checking its settings for any incorrect configurations.
  • Ensure that the printer is selected in the app and try a test print.

Check the Print Queue:

  • Verify that the print queue is not paused. If it is, choose the appropriate setting to resume printing.
  • Clear the print queue to remove any stuck print jobs.

Run a Test Page:

  • Print a test page to check if the printer can communicate with your computer.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
