@Goodgirl789, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It sounds like there’s a print job stuck in your printer queue that’s blocking everything. Let’s fix that by clearing the print queue so you can get your printer working again. Here are some steps you can try:

Cancel the Print Job via Printer Queue:

Open the Print Queue:

Click the Start Menu, and type "Printers & Scanners".

Click on your printer and then click Open Queue.

Cancel Stuck Jobs:

If you see any stuck print jobs in the queue, right-click on them and choose Cancel.

If you can't cancel the print job this way, continue with the steps below.

Restart the Print Spooler Service (to force-clear the queue):

Sometimes the spooler (which manages the print jobs) gets stuck. You can restart it to force-clear the queue.

Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.

In the Services window, scroll down and find Print Spooler.

Right-click on Print Spooler and select Stop.

Go to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete all files in this folder (this clears the stuck jobs).

Go back to the Services window, right-click on Print Spooler, and select Start.

Restart the Printer:

Turn off the printer, wait 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.

Check if the print job clears from the queue and the printer starts printing again.

Reboot Your Computer:

Sometimes, restarting your PC helps clear out any issues related to the print spooler or printer connection.

Try Printing Again:

After doing all of the above, try printing a test page or document to see if it works.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
