Hi @NolaRaz ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP ENVY Photo 7855 printer gets stuck on the HP logo screen, it’s usually an indicator of a firmware or startup issue. Here are some steps you can try to resolve it:

Step 1: Power Reset

  1. Turn off the printer by disconnecting the power cord.
  2. Wait for at least 60 seconds to clear any residual power.
  3. Reconnect the power cord directly to the wall outlet (avoid power strips or surge protectors).
  4. Turn on the printer and check if it goes past the HP logo screen.

Step 2: Check for Firmware Issues  Update the firmware on an HP printer

  1. Disconnect all USB or network cables from the printer (leave only the power cord connected).
  2. Turn on the printer. If it boots up, check for available firmware updates via the printer’s menu or the HP Smart app to prevent similar issues.

Step 3: Hard Reset (Factory Reset)

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. While the printer is off, press and hold the power button and the back button (or cancel button depending on the model) simultaneously for a few seconds.
  3. Release the buttons and turn on the printer. This might initiate a reset.

Step 4: Reinstall Firmware via USB (if possible)

If the above steps don’t help, you may need to reinstall the firmware using a USB connection:

  1. Download the latest firmware for the HP ENVY Photo 7855 from the HP Support website.
  2. Connect the printer to your computer via USB and run the firmware installation utility.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
