Hi @bobbijo2530,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand your HP DeskJet 3752 printer has stopped printing and the orange light is steadily flashing even though the ink cartridges are properly installed. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.
Check for Paper Jams
Open the printer’s access door and check for any jammed or torn pieces of paper inside the input or output tray.
Remove any debris or paper carefully and close the access door properly.
Restart the Printer
With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the rear of the printer and the wall outlet.
Wait for 60 seconds, then plug the cord back into the wall first and then into the printer.
Turn the printer back on and check if the orange light is still flashing.
Check the Ink Cartridges
Open the cartridge access area and make sure both cartridges are seated correctly in their respective slots.
Remove and reinsert the cartridges one at a time to ensure proper contact.
If any of the cartridges are low or empty, replace them with genuine HP cartridges.
Check the Paper Feed and Rollers
Remove the paper stack, check for curled or wrinkled sheets, and reload fresh paper properly aligned.
Clean the paper feed rollers gently with a lint-free cloth if needed.
Run a Printer Reset
Press and hold the Cancel and Wireless buttons on the printer for 3 seconds to reset the printer.
Wait until the printer stops flashing and the light returns to normal before trying to print again.
Check for Print Queue or Software Errors
On your computer, open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners, select your printer, and clear any stuck print jobs.
Then try printing a test page.
If the Orange Light Persists
The issue could be related to a sensor or cartridge recognition error.
In that case, reinstall the HP Smart app, reconnect the printer, and perform an alignment or cleaning cycle from the app.
I hope this helps.
