Hi @Elguapo77,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Ensure Proper Cartridge Installation:
- Make sure the ink cartridges are installed correctly. Remove each cartridge and reinsert it to ensure a proper connection.
Check for Protective Tape:
- Verify that all protective tape or plastic covering on the new cartridges has been removed. These protective covers must be removed for the cartridges to work properly.
Check Printer Settings:
- Make sure your printer is set up correctly in the software settings. Check that the correct printer is selected, and settings such as grayscale printing are not enabled unless intended.
Run the Printer Head Cleaning Utility:
- Use the printer's built-in cleaning tool to clean the printhead. This can remove any clogs or air bubbles that may be preventing ink from flowing.
- Access this feature through the printer's control panel or the printer software on your computer.
Perform a Printer Reset:
- Power cycle your printer by turning it off, unplugging it for a minute, and then plugging it back in and turning it on.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model on the HP website. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve printing issues.
Test with a Different Document or Software Application:
- Try printing a different document or from a different application to rule out document-specific issues.
Print Quality Diagnostic Report:
- Use your printer's control panel to print a Print Quality Diagnostic page. This report can help identify ink issues such as streaks or lines that may indicate a damaged or defective cartridge.
I hope this helps.
