Hi @Yankel1
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
The error code 0x61000047 typically points to a startup or ink system fault caused by an improper shutdown. You can often resolve this with a few careful resets and checks.
Let’s walk through a clean recovery process to get your printer back to normal:
Step-by-Step Recovery for Error 0x61000047
1. Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer using the power button, not by unplugging it.
- Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall.
- Wait 2 full minutes.
- Reconnect the power cord directly to a wall outlet (avoid surge protectors).
- Turn the printer back on.
This clears residual charge and resets internal sensors.
2. Check for Paper or Cartridge Obstructions
- Open the ink access door and gently move the carriage if it’s stuck.
- Remove all ink cartridges and inspect for leaks or misalignment.
- Check for any torn paper or debris inside the paper path and behind the rear access door.
3. Reinstall Ink Cartridges
- Reinsert each cartridge one by one, ensuring they click into place.
- Close all doors securely and restart the printer.
4. Run Diagnose & Fix from HP App
- Open the HP App on your Windows PC.
- Select your printer > Support > Diagnose & Fix.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to scan for hardware and connection issues.
5. Update Firmware (Optional but Helpful)
- Visit the HP Software & Driver Downloads.
- Enter your printer model and download the latest firmware update.
- Install it using USB or network connection.
If the error persists after these steps, let me know your printer model and how it's connected (USB or Wi-Fi), and I’ll guide you through a deeper reset or cartridge system check.
