Printer just completely stopped working out of nowhere

HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a

My OfficeJet Pro 8600 has worked fine until a few days ago. Now on the screen it displays - "There is a problem with the printer or the ink system. Try turning off and on, and if the problem persists, contact HP." So I've tried contacting HP and haven't been able to get past the live troubleshoot agent. Not sure at all what to do and am wondering what the best course of action would be for me. I've tried all the troubleshooting and it hasn't worked. Could it be something with the ink system?

I tried unplugging it for 60 seconds and turning it back on.
