Hi, I have HP ENVY PHOTO 6255. Whenever I print, it goes super slow, just prints out a small part of the page, and then a printer error comes up.

I have new ink cartridges, I've cleaned them, aligned my page. There are no updates available for my printer. I've turned it off and on.

Any other possible solutions?

Hi @Applejax9,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer not printing full page!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like your HP ENVY PHOTO 6255 is experiencing slow printing and error messages, even after checking the ink, alignment, and updates. Try the following solutions:

1. Check for Print Queue Issues

  1. Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  2. Scroll down to Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Restart.
  3. Go to Control PanelDevices and Printers.
  4. Right-click your printer and select See what's printing.
  5. If there are stuck print jobs, cancel them all and try printing again.

2. Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor (Automatic Fix)

  1. Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor.
  2. Let the tool diagnose and fix common printing issues automatically.

3. Change Printer Preferences (Fix Slow Printing)

  1. Open Control PanelDevices and Printers.
  2. Right-click on HP ENVY PHOTO 6255 and choose Printing Preferences.
  3. Go to the Paper/Quality or Advanced tab.
  4. Set Print Quality to Draft or Normal instead of Best.
  5. Disable "Quiet Mode" (found under Printer Settings).
  6. Apply the settings and test again.

4. Update or Reinstall the Printer Driver

  1. Go to Device Manager (Press Win + X, then select Device Manager).
  2. Expand Printers, right-click HP ENVY PHOTO 6255, and select Update driver.
  3. If that doesn't work, go to HP Support, download the latest driver, and install it manually.

5. Check for Network or USB Connection Issues

  • If using Wi-Fi, restart your router and reconnect the printer.
  • If using a USB connection, try a different USB cable and port.
  • Move the printer closer to the router if Wi-Fi is weak.

6. Factory Reset (Last Resort)

If nothing works, reset your printer:

  1. On the printer screen, go to SettingsPrinter Maintenance.
  2. Select Restore DefaultsReset All Settings.
  3. Set up your printer again and test.

Let me know if this helps! 😊
