1 year old HP Envy 5055 worked for over a year now it doesn't print at all.  Ink cartridges over 1/2 full.  

Talked to overseas help.  The operator got the printer to print.  Then hours later I tried and it didn't print.

Not happy at all with this situation.  Use HP ink cartridges.

To assist you better, do you get any errors?

Does the printer print a blank page?

  • Which application are you trying to print from?
  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
  • Which device are you using to print?

Try making a standalone copy from the flatbed glass and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

 

Print a self-test page 

  1. On the printer control panel, touch the Setup icon .

  2. Touch Tools.

  3. Swipe down the display, and then touch Print Status Report.
