My printer is repeatedly stating “printer cannot print” but it does not indicate what the actual problem or issue is.  It’s connected to the internet and has full ink cartridges.

Is this a message that shows up on the printer's console or is it a message on the PC or some other device like HP Smart?

 

Can you get a status report from the printer?

 

What model printer?
