Hi @MTennant ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue the flashing lights indicate that the printer is either not connected to the network or having another error. Here’s how you can resolve the issue:
Step 1: Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer.
- Disconnect the power cable from the back of the printer.
- Wait for 60 seconds, then reconnect the power cable and turn the printer back on.
- Check if the lights stop flashing.
Step 2: Reconnect to Wi-Fi
Restore network settings to default:
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button (or Wireless button) on the printer until the light starts blinking (around 5 seconds). This resets the network settings.
Use WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup):
- On your router, press the WPS button for 3-5 seconds.
- Within 2 minutes, press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the Wi-Fi light starts blinking.
- Wait for the printer to connect. The Wi-Fi light should turn solid.
Alternative: Use the HP Smart App (Recommended)
- Download HP Smart on your phone or PC.
- Open the app and click Add Printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi.
Step 3: Check Network Settings
- Print a Configuration Report:
- Press and hold the Resume/Cancel button on the printer for 3-5 seconds. The report will print if the printer is working.
- Look at the Wireless Status on the report:
- If it says Not Connected, repeat Step 2.
- If it says Connected, note the IP address and use it to add the printer to your computer.
Step 4: Reinstall the Printer on Your PC
On Windows:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Remove the HP LaserJet M110w if listed.
- Re-add the printer using the IP address from the Configuration Report.
On macOS:
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Delete and re-add the printer.
Step 5: Update Firmware
- Use the HP Smart App or HP’s website to check for any firmware updates for your printer.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
