Hello. I have a HP Envy 6000 Printer, I have had it about 1 year - purchased new. My printer will spit paper out but will not print on the paper. I have unplugged it, moved it to a new location to verify Bluetooth connection, used can air to clean debree,  I have checked ink levels, I have cleaned the printer head several times. When I clean the print head or use the scan option it will print but if I try to print from my computer it just spits on blank papers. I have noticed that when it does print it seems to move slower than normal and it also flashes a red circled X at me. I have been trying different things to diagnose it and I just am out of time. I really need to be able to utilize this printer. Any thoughts on what to try?

@SCupp, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Envy 6000 Printer Not Printing!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP Envy 6000 Printer is not printing and only spits out blank pages, despite performing some troubleshooting steps, try the following:

Verify Printer Connection:

  • Ensure that the printer is securely connected to your computer either via USB, wireless, or Bluetooth. Reconnect the printer to your network to ensure stable connectivity.

Check Print Queue:

  • Go to the 'Printers & Scanners' section on your computer and make sure there are no stuck jobs in the print queue. Clear any pending documents.

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Visit the HP Support website to check for any updated drivers for your printer model. Reinstalling the printer driver may resolve software-related issues.

Perform a Printer Reset:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait about 60 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on to reset any potential issues with the printer hardware.

Try Printing Directly from a Different Application:

  • Sometimes the issue can be related to the software you are using to print. Try printing a test page directly from the printer settings or test printing from a different application.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
