My printer is not printing my jobs. It will print out a diagnosis sheet with no issues but won’t print my jobs.

Hi @Can34,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're stoked to have you on board!

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please share the model name of your device?

Meanwhile you can try these steps.

I understand your printer is printing a diagnostic sheet fine but won’t print your actual print jobs. Let’s go through some steps to troubleshoot this issue.

1. Check Print Queue

On your computer, open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.

Select your printer > Open queue.

Cancel all stuck print jobs and try printing again.

2. Set Printer as Default

Make sure your printer is set as the default printer:

Settings > Printers & scanners > select your printer > Set as default.

3. Restart Printer & Computer

Turn off the printer, wait 30 seconds, then turn it back on.

Restart your PC to refresh the connection.

4. Check Printer Connection

If using Wi-Fi, ensure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.

If using USB, try a different USB port or cable.

5. Update or Reinstall Driver

Go to the HP Support website and download the latest driver for your printer and OS.

Install it, restart your PC, and try printing again.

6. Test with Another Document or App

Try printing from a different application (like Word, PDF reader, or Notepad).

If it prints from another app, the issue may be with the original file or software.

7. Temporarily Disable Firewall/Antivirus

Sometimes, firewall or antivirus software blocks print jobs.

Temporarily disable them and try printing. Re-enable afterward.

I hope this helps.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍
