@Emmy124, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your HP LaserJet M211dw printer. A persistent yellow blinking light can indicate different issues depending on the printer model, but it typically relates to a problem with the printer's status.

Here are some general troubleshooting steps you can try:

Check Printer Connections:

  • Make sure the printer is properly connected to the power source and to the computer or network.
  • Ensure that all cables are securely attached.

Paper Jam:

  • Check for any paper jams inside the printer. Open the printer’s access doors to ensure there are no blocked or stuck papers.

Ink or Toner:

  • Verify that the toner cartridge is correctly installed. Remove the cartridge and reinstall it to make sure it is securely positioned.
  • Check if the toner is running low and consider replacing it with a new one if necessary.

Network Connection:

  • If the printer is connected to a network, ensure it is connected to the correct network and there are no connectivity issues.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart both the printer and the computer or device you are printing from.

Firmware Update:

  • Check if there is any firmware update available for your printer model and update if necessary. Firmware updates can sometimes resolve ongoing issues.

Take care and have a good day.
