@Abby251, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer that does not turn on!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your printer is not turning on and all the lights are displaying orange, here is a troubleshooting guide to help resolve the issue:

Check the Printer Connections

  • Ensure the power cord is securely connected to the rear of the printer. Image: Check the power cord.

Check the Electrical Outlet

  • Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
  • Plug another appliance into the electrical outlet to ensure it works.
    • If the appliance works, the outlet is functioning correctly.
    • If the outlet does not work, plug the printer into another outlet that does.

Using an Alternate Power Cord

  • If possible, try using another power cord that is compatible with your printer.
    • If the printer turns on with the alternate power cord, the original power cord may be faulty and needs replacement.
    • If the printer does not turn on with the alternate power cord, proceed to the next step.

Reset the Printer

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the power source.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord directly to a wall outlet and to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer.

I hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
