Printer prints okay sometimes, partial pages, strange characters and blank pages other times

Officejet 6600 wireless connection sometimes prints fine, other times will only print part of a page, this is usually followed by printing giberish or black streaks.  If this occurs when printing multiple pages it will sometimes print blank pages for the number of remaining pages.  This began sometime after putting in a new router.
