We have been using the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e for a few years now with no issues. For about the last 3 weeks it has quit printing the pictures in my bulletin. It will print in color. It prints the text. It prints the border, but no picture. Why would this be happening?

Hi @uccsec,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e is printing text and colors but not the pictures, here are some troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue:
1. Check Printer Settings
- Ensure that the print settings are configured correctly. Go to the print dialog and check if "Print in Grayscale" or "Black & White" is selected. If so, switch it to "Color."
2. Use Different File Formats
- Try printing the pictures from a different file format or application. For example, if you're printing from a word processor, try printing the images from a photo viewer or dedicated graphics program.
3. Update Printer Drivers
- Make sure your printer drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.
4. Clean Printheads
- Perform a printhead cleaning using the printer's built-in maintenance tools. This can help resolve issues where certain colors or areas are not printing correctly.
- You can usually find this option in the printer settings menu under Maintenance or Tools.
5. Check Ink Levels
- Check the ink levels for your cartridges. Even if the printer is printing in color, the photo ink may be low or empty, affecting picture quality.
6. Print Quality Diagnostic Report
- Print a diagnostic report or a test page to see if the printer can produce images correctly. This can help determine if the issue is with the printer or the specific file.
7. Check for Software Issues
- Sometimes software conflicts can affect printing. Restart your computer and try printing again. If possible, try using a different device to print.
8. Try Different Paper
- If you’re using specialty paper, switch to regular paper to see if that resolves the issue. Sometimes certain papers can affect print quality.
9. Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer, unplug it for a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can help clear temporary glitches.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
