HP Envy 5030 All In One Printer

Hello,

 

I bought this printer (HP Envy 5030 All In One series) in UK. It uses cartridge number 304. 

Now, that I'm back in India. I'm unable to find that cartridge here. 

Existing B/W cartridge is choked as well. I tried to get it working by the general washing/cleaning tips, but it prints partially only.

The On-Call Tech Support asked me to first get the cartridge refilled and then only they'll be able to "regionalize" the printer so that it works with cartridges available in India. For the refill, they asked me to visit HP service center or wherever else the facility is available.

HP website's service center locator facility is down.

I live in Faridabad and one local service center that I knew of - TVS Electronics, has said they won't be able to help. They asked me to try in the NIT area of the city.

That area is very densely populated. So in the prevailing COVID situation I don't want to roam around there aimlessly if I don't have a fixed destination to go in and out of. 

 

What are my options from here. Please help.

Kindly refer to the below table to find the compatible ink cartridges according to the region.

In India, this printer uses HP 803 ink cartridges. However, you have to perform a region reset on the printer before using the 803 ink cartridges in the printer.

 

To perform the region reset, you need the 803 ink cartridges available.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
